Refreshing an arts organization's website

The Ask

Fulcrum Arts had an existing website that needed a refresh. The organization had grown and its programs, projects, festivals, and events needed to be easier to navigate and present.

Fulcrum's designer provided the visual direction, and I worked with them to develop the information architecture and build the refreshed site in WordPress.

The Work

I worked with Fulcrum's designer to translate the new designs into a working website and helped organize the site's content and navigation.

The site needed to accommodate a wide range of content - from ongoing programs and projects to individual events and festivals - without making it difficult for visitors to find their way around.

I built the refreshed site in WordPress, including a custom events calendar for presenting their programming.

The Result

The refreshed site gave Fulcrum a clearer way to present its work and bring its programs, projects, and events together.

It also gave the organization a WordPress site they could continue to update as their programming changed.
